The largest hunting and fishing fair in the Alpine region, Hohe Jagd & Fischerei, attracts thousands of visitors to the Salzburg Exhibition Center in Austria every year. In 2026, 44,000 hunters, fishers and nature enthusiasts gathered in 33,000 m² of exhibition space to learn about new hunting and sporting firearms, optical and electronic equipment, all-terrain vehicles, hunting ground equipment, hunting trips, traditional clothing, hunting dogs, and much more from 500 exhibitors. A comprehensive supporting program, including events like “Impuls.Revier” and “Genuss.Revier”, provides a diverse range of educational opportunities, shows and entertainment each year. For many hunters in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region), this trade fair has rightfully become a fixture on their annual event calendar.
One of the highlights of the Hohe Jagd & Fischerei is undoubtedly the Red Fox Austria Award, in which Austrian furriers present their craftsmanship to a panel of experts in the form of jackets, coats, dresses and accessories – all made from local red fox pelts. This craft, which had sadly fallen into oblivion, makes a strong statement at the Hohe Jagd every year, impressively demonstrating what can be created from fox pelts sourced from sustainable Austrian hunting. The Federal Guild of Fashion and Clothing Technology, Hohe Jagd & Fischerei and MG VISION GmbH ensure that this art form receives the recognition it deserves.
MG VISION is once again organizing the Impuls.Revier stage in Hall 10 in 2027 – the central hub of the High Hunting & Fishing trade fair. Whether you want to listen to expert presentations, participate in panel discussions, or simply relax after a long day at the fair – Impuls.Revier is THE place to be.
